My Younger Brother is a Hero Chapter 112

112.

He felt himself drawn to Leon's words. Certainly, the method presented by him was effective. He did not know how much time it would take to persuade Hyeon-woo and take him to the Demon Realm. And yet, he still hesitated.

"Why?"

He couldn't tell.

"What are you hesitating for?"

That was it. What was he hesitating about right now? Such a good opportunity had presented itself to him. It was easier to persuade a human that had fallen into hell. Hyeon-woo would be no different.

At first, he would miss the world and the people who used to live in it, but that would only be for a while. Alberg had a lot of things in the Demon Realm, and he intended to pour them out to him generously.

"Alright. Then let's swear it on your name."

Swearing on your name was like risking your life. It was a contract that can never be broken. He didn't trust Leon yet, so he thought he had to do this.

"Gladly."

Knowing that, Leon smiled and accepted him. Because he was not the only one who was shackled.

In a hospital that cooperated with the Yoram Guild, Hanil stayed on the top floor. He didn't have much trauma, but seeing that he still couldn't open his eyes, it seemed like something had happened. However, neither doctor nor hunter could find the cause.

“How is Hanil?”

A-yun asked Ja-yun as she came out of the hospital room.

“Still not good. I called all the healers and curse breakers just in case, but he didn't seem to wake up."

"He was a competent person, but it's a pity."

"I know."

Hanil was a rookie who was supported by the Yoram Guild. He had an exceptional talent for tracking and stealth that equaled his special treatment. But when something like this happened, she couldn't help but feel sorry for him.

“I think I need to meet with Ji Hyeon-woo first.”

“You already received the statement after negotiating with the Hunter Administration. Do you think there is something more?”

“Am I not the only one who thinks so?”

Ja-yun flicked his finger at his sister's nose.

"Ack! It hurts!”

“I barely flicked you.”

“It still hurts! Anyway, it's true that I have to meet Ji-ssi's Hyung. I don't believe they told the Hunter Administration everything."

“So it is.”

It didn't seem like A-yun would believe what was revealed on the surface.

“What the hell happened? I’m so curious.”

“But Ji Seon-woo blocked the entry to the hospital over there. Even if you go, you won’t be able to meet him.”

"Ugh. Wasn't it like our alliance? I feel like I'm always getting blocked every time we meet.”

Ja-yun also agreed to A-yun’s grumbling. While the two of them were sharing their opinions, a guild member suddenly rushed over.

"Is something wrong?"

When Ja-yun got up from his seat and asked, the guild member gasped.

“Leon, Leon-nim has visited the hospital!”

"What? Could it be Leon of the Guardian Guild?"

"Yes! He wants to meet Hanil-ssi, who is currently hospitalized.”

Ja-yun and A-yun looked at each other for a moment. He gave up because it was difficult to get the entry, but Ji Hyeon-woo and Ji Seon-woo were not the only ones present at the scene. Leon was there too.

“Tell him to come in. No – I'll go pick him up.”

A-yun quickly stepped forward and said. In a way, this was an opportunity. An opportunity to uncover new information.

The two moved quickly to meet Leon.

"Hello?"

The blond young man in the white uniform had a very strange appearance. Under the morning sunlight pouring in at the right time, he looked like a warrior going to defeat the demon king.

"Hello."

"Good morning."

After politely exchanging greetings, Leon brought up the main subject of discussion.

“I heard that Lee Hanil-ssi was hospitalized here.”

"Do you know Hanil-ssi?"

Leon smiled and answered A-yun's question.

“I know a little bit. I heard that you were tracking someone, so we chatted for a while. I learned his name in the process.”

"Okay."

A-yun looked carefully at Leon's complexion and looked for opportunities. How could they elicit information from him?

“By the way, where did you hear about the hospitalization?”

“I heard from the Hunter Administration.”

Was it Choi Moo-Hyuk? No, it was not him. He was not the kind of person who would carelessly throw out information from the Hunter Administration. Then, the answer was obvious.

'The Director.'

He must have given up everything to look good to the hunters with the great powers. Anyway, he was a useless little guy.

“How is he now?”

Should he tell him the truth? Or should he hide it? While Ja-yun was worrying over his thoughts, A-yun spoke first.

“He’s unable to wake up for unknown reasons.”

When A-yun thought of Leon's reputation, she thought asking questions back would not work. So she bluntly brought out her words.

"So do you remember anything that might have caused this?"

“Well.”

Leon made a puzzled expression.

“I don’t think so, but I think I can say that for sure only when Lee Han-il wakes up.”

She knew it! Leon knew something. A-yun's eyes twinkled. The question now was how to wake up Hanil. He thought he should ask for help from other guilds.

"That's too bad."

“It is. But, I think I can help you with that part, if that's okay with you."

"Yes?"

“I heard that my close friend Anais is in Japan. That’s not too far by plane, right?”

Anais. As an angel in white, and one of the world's leading healers, she had a somewhat unique history. She studied medicine after awakening because she wanted to treat more people properly. With that ability she had been helping many people all over the world.

In addition to her, she was also a guild member of the Guardian Guild.

“I’ll call her here.”

It was too much kindness. It wasn't that there wasn't anything suspicious, but she had no choice but to accept it.

“Well, thank you for doing that!”

"No. I’m just doing what I can do.”

Leon showed humility with a calm expression. That afternoon, Anais arrived in Korea.

"Hello!"

Anais greeted the others. Her curly red hair and the freckles that sat on her face were impressive. From her appearance alone, she looked more like a tomboy than an angel in white.

“I heard there’s a patient for me here?”

“Yes, Anais. Other doctors and healers have tried treatment, but they say there’s no improvement.”

At Leon's words, Anais rolled up her sleeves and clenched her fist.

“Don't worry! I'll cure him!"

Leon and Anais entered Hanil's hospital room. Just in case, Ja-yun followed her in, but Anais diligently treated him.

“Phew. Bad vibes penetrated his head. I drove it out, so he should wake up soon."

As Anais said, Hanil woke up soon after. The doctors, who filled the place rushed, where she stepped down, to check on his condition.

“He’s in perfect condition with no further treatment required.”

It was said he no longer needed hospitalization.

'As expected, Anais!'

A-yun, who joined in late, stroked her heart in relief, and Hanil, who had been blinking blankly with his eyes, hurriedly brought out his words.

“I- I have something to say.”

"You’re said to be cured, but just in case, get some more rest."

"I’m okay. There are more important things than that."

"What is it?"

Hanil wet his dry lips and continued.

"That night."

“Did you see anything that night?”

“I’ll tell you everything I saw.”

He straightened his body in a serious manner.

'Right now?'

A-yun was troubled. It was because A-yun and Ja-yun weren't the only ones in this hospital room.

“Shall we go back?”

Anais tapped Leon on the shoulder and said. It would be embarrassing to treat someone who helped him like this, but he still has a lively way of speaking.

"You can't eavesdrop on other guilds."

"Yes. That's right.”

It was such a cool attitude. Because of that, A-yun was taken aback.

“B-but are you okay?”

"It’s okay."

They help out and turn around without any cost. And yet she doesn't even regret it. It was something A-yun would never have done. It was then that she seemed to understand why people called Anais the angel in white.

“No, I want you to listen to my whole story.”

Something happened to Leon and Anais who were about to turn around. It was something he would never have thought of. Wasn't it him, who was supported by the Yoram Guild?

“This is something everyone should know.”

Hanil said firmly.

“Something that everyone should know?”

"Yes."

After answering that, Hanil started talking before Ja-yun stopped him.

“That night, I was monitoring Ji Seon-woo.”

In the process, Hanil saw Hyeon-woo slipping out of the hospital, and he followed him until he met and joined Leon. The two succeeded in getting close to the dragon, and met another person. That person was Ji Hyeon-woo.

“There were four people on the dragon side. Bacardi, a hydra, a dragon, and a mysterious person. On the other hand, Ji Hyeon-woo was alone on the other side.”

At first, he thought he should help Ji Hyeon-woo. However, his body did not move easily due to the fear the dragon gave him. Then Leon stepped in and lured Bacardi to another place.

Still, there were three enemies left. Besides, there was an unusual existence. Hanil hesitated about what to say next. It was because he had no talent for fighting.

At that time, Ji Hyeon-woo started to move.

“Weren’t there any of the monsters he tamed?”

“None.”

Even so, Ji Hyeon-woo did not lose. He went out and used his strange power to press the enemy.

“A strange power?”

“Yes, it was very strange. Looking at it, it felt like someone was looking into the bottom of my soul. I felt like I was being eaten up by fear.”

Hanil shuddered.

"Didn't Leon see that?"

“I didn’t see it because I was fighting Bacardi from a distance.”

“It was . . .  it was a really strange power. Like–  like– !"

Hanil muttered in a low voice, covering his face with both hands.

“He looked more like a monster than a human. What should I say?”

“Like a demon.”

Leon said in a whisper.

"You're right. Like a demon!”

It was an absurd story.

HM: Leon has taken the first step towards betrayal. It may be because I like Oshi no ko. But I like the sound of betrayal and revenge. wwwwww

Davine: I knew this would happen as soon as Leon had come here.

YRR: What an interesting turn of events. Onto the political drama…
